Artist Statement

Throughout my year working with different techniques and projects, I have learned my skills and what I can make better. I will be surrounded by art as my life unfolds. Not only the pieces that humans have made, but also the artwork that my Lord and Savior has created. We all have been given certain talents. I have been blessed with a skilled hand, and I will use it as often as I can to please myself and my God. My inspiration, desire, passion, and imagination are also blessings I have received. Art is my way to express my feelings, moods, dreams, love, and ideas. With His power over me, I can accomplish anything and create masterpieces.      Thank you for viewing my blog and I hope this inspires you to live your life with the love of artwork that surrounds us.

Flowers

This was a colored background with blended white and orange. The flowers went up in a wave manner and the flowers differed in the way they were blooming.
This is a cascading wave that has foam, and the crashing waves. This was practice and it did not turn out as well as I had hoped.

Ocean Waves

This is my ocean practice paper. I am very proud of this and the waves have different tones, colors and depth.

Skyline

This is my skyline ocean painting. The waves are on a calm day and I am pleased with the clouds.

Water Color

This is a water color painting that I was just moving the paint around. I saw a shape and traced it with my fingers. It turned out to be two people and I placed it a heart in it.

Matthew 5:14

This is my abstract painting of the Bible verse Matthew 5:14.Mixing of colors and the abstract building create this piece I am very proud of.

Oil crayon and acryllic paint.

A patter of oil crayons was laid down then covered with two layers of acryllic paint. With a design, I traced and carefully scratched out the design.

Color Wheel

The blowing of hearts and how the heart grows is the symbolizing on how a circle is completed. With time, color, and the way life carries you  is how one's heart and soul is completed.
